Science Exploration 2026-27

A Year of Big Questions

A Year of Big Questions Science

Science is fueled by curiosity, and this year our students will become scientists by exploring some of the world's biggest questions. Instead of simply learning about scientific topics, each month begins with a thought-provoking question that students investigate through hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, observations, discussions, and creative problem-solving. Questions like Can We Trust Our Senses?, Could You Survive Anywhere on Earth?, and Are We Alone? encourage students to think critically, ask their own questions, and discover answers through exploration. While each adventure is exciting and engaging, every unit is intentionally designed to align with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), ensuring students develop a deep understanding of life, physical, Earth and space sciences, as well as the scientific and engineering practices used by real scientists. Our goal is to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help students see science not as a subject to memorize, but as a way to better understand the world around them.

Our science cohort is welcome to learners PreK-6th grade and is priced at $180 per learner for each month series. Each topic will be covered in a 4 week series. Listed below are topics and weekly lesson studies.

Science Cohort Schedule
